What Side Effects Can I Experience?
Depending on the treatment, you may experience redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising, or temporary sensitivity. Ellacor can also cause crusting, peeling, dryness, and pinpoint bleeding during healing. Less common complications are also possible, but rare, and we take all possible measures and provide detailed aftercare instructions to ensure safety and optimal results.
How Many Ellacor Treatments Might I Need?
It varies. In Ellacor’s clinical trial, most patients received 3 treatments spaced 30 days apart, although your treatment plan may differ. Dr. Mary Beth Mudd can determine whether one treatment or a series makes sense based on your wrinkles, skin quality, and goals.
Is Sofwave the Better Choice if I Want Minimal Downtime?

Can Skin Tightening Replace a Facelift?
Not necessarily. These technologies can address appropriate degrees of skin laxity, wrinkles, and tissue firmness without surgery, but they do not reposition deeper facial structures as a facelift can.
