Family Medicine to Aesthetic Medicine
Dr. Mary Beth Mudd graduated from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed her residency at the Grant Hospital Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She then built her early career practicing family medicine.
Dr. Mudd founded New You Center more than 20 years ago, initially running the practice part-time alongside her full-time family practice. As New You Center grew, so did her interest and expertise in aesthetic medicine. In January 2009, she made aesthetics her full-time focus.
That decision gave her the opportunity to study aesthetics in greater depth, master advanced techniques, and expand what she could offer her patients. Today, New You Center is a physician-led medical aesthetics practice that offers advanced treatments for the face, skin, and body.

She was the first non-surgeon in the country to use the Sciton ProLipo™ laser for LaserLipo and the first physician in Ohio to perform CoolSculpting® and Ultherapy™ skin lifting. She was also the first physician in Central Ohio trained in the dermal filler threadlift technique and Silhouette InstaLift™ skin rejuvenation.
Dr. Mudd is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, where she presented: “Evaluation of a Single Treatment of 1470nm/2940nm Hybrid Fractional Laser for Facial Rejuvenation”.
